All went according to plan with our travels. There was loads of leg room on the plane and the flight took only 4.45 hrs with a following wind!
The heat as we went outside was wonderful… blue Hawaii skies and sunshine.
Took the bus, we got on at the rear door as it was all a bit rushed and I sat there with 3 dollars in my hand waiting to pay, but no one came to collect. I’ve since learned that you get on at the front, pay the driver and only exit at the rear of the bus. Had a free airport transfer by default!
Our studio apartment is one block from the sea. Not the most aesthetically pleasing building, sited between the Marriot and a couple of backpacker hostels, but we have everything that we need including a patio area to sit outside. Just a two minute walk to the beach and the bus stop!
Headed to the ocean… beautiful just to be at peace with the rhythm of the waves and to feel myself unfold in the warmth of the sun.
